Susquehanna University, located in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, was founded 1858 by Lutherans. The school currently offers a liberal arts education for individuals of all backgrounds and beliefs supported by the Lutheran practice of free and open exploration of ideas. The school is a member of the Annapolis Group, an organization of leading liberal arts colleges. The school averages 2,300 undergraduate students annually and provides them a quality education stressing open mindedness and flexibility.
Academics
Students at Susquehanna University will enroll on one of the three schools that comprise the university. These are the S0chool of Arts, Humanities and Communications, the School of Natural and Social Sciences, and the Sigmund Weis School of Business. Students wishing to enroll at Susquehanna University must submit an application and application supplement, provide all relevant transcripts, an evaluation by a guidance counselor, teacher evaluation, and test result from the ACT or Sat exam. Graded writing samples may be used in lieu of test scores. Once this information is received, it will be reviewed and the student notified shortly after if they accepted to the university.
