About
Texas Lutheran University, located in Seguin, Texas, and was established in 1891. The school was originally established as an academy of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. The school was originally located in Brenham, but moved to Seguin into a single building located on 15 acres. The school merged with Trinity College of Round Rock, Texas and and Clifton College, resulting in an expansion of the schools offerings and a change of the name to Texas Lutheran University.

Texas Lutheran University offers a variety of majors and minors to provide students a number of choices for their academic and professional futures. Programs typically take four years to complete and result in a  bachelor's degree. Minor degree options allow students to pursue secondary interests that may or may not relate to their major. As a school with a religious foundation, Lutheran principles are part of the foundation of the academic offerings at the school.
