About
Adams State College, located in Alamosa, Colorado, was founded in 1921 as a teacher's college known as Adam's Normal School. The school was established by Billy adams, who prior to his career as a legislator, then governor, worked for three decades to establish the school.
Since then the school has transformed, expanding its offerings and expanding beyond its original purpose. The school recently renovated and updated its facilities through a project costing more than 65 million dollars as part of its overall mission to provide students with the best education opportunities and facilities possible.
