About
Adams State College, located in Alamosa, Colorado, was founded in 1921 as a teacher's college known as Adam's Normal School. The school was established by Billy adams, who prior to his career as a legislator, then governor, worked for three decades to establish the school.

Since then the school has transformed, expanding its offerings and expanding beyond its original purpose.
