University of South Carolina – Salkehatchie

Salkehatchie is one of the University of South Carolina’s four Regional Campuses. It is located in the Lowcountry of South Carolina with campuses in Walterboro and Allendale. The first two years of most majors can be completed at the college. The University of South Carolina offers affordable tuition and fees. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Student enrollment is around 1,000 students.
Tuition for full time students is $2,850 and $7,152 for non-residents. Freshman can receive a scholarship if they scored 1000 or more on their SAT and finished in the top 10 percent of their class.
At the University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie, students can complete coursework towards a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education.
Students can also complete Bachelor’s degrees in Human Services, Criminal Justice and Business Management through the Palmetto College. Students can complete their degree at Palmetto College online.
The college offers a large choice of degree programs. Another highlight is that has small classes and individual attention from outstanding faculty. The USC Salkehatchie campus is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The school fields teams in women’s softball, baseball, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s basketball.
