Western Connecticut State University, a public institution, offers a large number of degree programs, allowing students to choose which major is right for them. Located in Danbury, CT, the campus offers an urban setting for students to study in. Approximately 6,600 students are enrolled per year at WestConn.

Students applying for admission are usually required to submit an application, transcripts, standardized test scores and any requested letters of recommendations, which will then be reviewed by admissions staff. Most students accepted to Western Connecticut State University score in a range of 900 to 1080 on the SAT exam. WestConn admits approximately 60 percent of students applying annually.
