History

Founded in 1936 By Rev. John G. Mitchell, Multnomah University was established to bring the truth of God's word to the Pacific Northwest. Located in Portland, Oregon, Multnomah has gone through several phases, initially a school, then later a seminary and college, until 2008 when the school officially became a University. Multnomah has expanded its educational offerings over the years expanding beyond theological and biblical offerings, though spiritual and cultural development are part of the schools overall goals for students.

Admissions and Financial Aid

Admissions to Multnomah University require a student to have a high school diploma and GPA of at least 2.5 or a GED. Students applying out of high school must also submit SAT or ACT test scores, letters of recommendation and a personal statement. Transfer students who have completed 24 or more semester hours do not need to submit test scores.
