Cape Cod Community College, located in West Barnstable, Massachusetts, was founded in 1961, the second of the 15 institutions that form the Massachusetts Community Colleges System. The school has multiple partnerships with nearby institutions in order to deliver education opportunities that extend beyond the two year degrees and programs offered by the school itself. These include Bridgewater State College, Boston University, Salem State University, and UMass Boston among others. The school is also known as CCCC as well as 4-Cs.

Academics
Cape Cod Community College offers a variety of programs that allows students to pursue four year education or career training. Academic transfer programs provide the first two years of a four year education, followed by transfer to a four year institution to continue one's education and earn a bachelor's degree.
