University of Western States (WSCC)

University of Western States, located in Portland, Oregon, was founded in 1904 by Drs. Eva and John Marsh. The school was initially known as Marshes' School and Cure but changed its name five years later to Pacific College of Chiropractic. By 1932 the school had once again been renamed Pacific Chiropractic College, and in 1937 the Health Research Foundation formed under which the school operated. The school relocated twice, in 1946 and 1973, and had once again changed its name to Western States Chiropractic College. In 2010 the school became the University of Western States, and offers a variety of programs in health care studies, including the oldest chiropractic program in the world, that may result in graduate or post-graduate degrees.
