Currently, the program is undergoing a transition and re-visioning. Interested students can still pursue an Turfgrass Management major in the Integrated Plant Sciences degree program. Delaware Valley College (Doylestown, PA) is a private university that offers academic programs that grant bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. DelVal Turf Management is an undergraduate major that offers hand-on learning experience. The program has a limited number of students, giving students more attention from experts and instructors. Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (Tifton, GA) is a public college and a member of the  University System of Georgia. The college is focused on providing undergraduate education leading to associate’s and bachelor’s degrees. Popular programs in the college are agriculture, home economics, and alike. Turfgrass and Golf Course Management is a track under the Environmental Horticulture program. The program offers foundational courses that develop the students’ professional knowledge about the discipline. Linn State Technical College (Linn, MO) also known as State Technical College of Missouri is a public college that focuses on providing technical education. Commercial Turf & Grounds Management students are required to undergo internships for a more hands-on experience. The university is recognized for its academic excellence, research activity, and public service. Golf Course Turfgrass Management is a two-year Professional Certificate Program. It is designed to prepare students to be golf course superintendents. Students will also take an on-the-job training across top golf courses across the globe. 

South Georgia Technical College (Americus, GA) is a public technical college that offers career-focused training programs. SGT provides a mixture of classroom instructions and hands-on training that equips students with skills required across their chosen industry. The turfgrass management program is designed for students who are interested to have careers in the industry. The program awards successful students with a certificate. 

 Southeast Technical Institute (Sioux Falls, SD) is a public technical institute that has been nationally ranked among the region's best two-year colleges. The institute offers Sports Turf Management leading to an Associate’s degree. Students will be trained through actual responsibilities of an industry professional. Students will gain a strong foundation on core courses. Graduates can assume relevant roles in a range of settings, including golf courses, professional and semi-professional sports complexes, and commercial landscape areas. 

Brunswick Community College (Bolivia, NC) is a public community college that offers several academic programs and career education to interested students. Turfgrass Management Technology prepares students to assume roles across the horticulture industry. Classroom instructions and hands-on training are provided to students of this diplomat program.  Plant identification, pest management, plant science and soil science are just some of the courses under the program. Graduates of the program are eligible and prepared to take the North Carolina Pesticide Applicator’s Examination.

Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute (Wooster, OH) is an institute under the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences of Ohio State University. The institute is focused on granting associate degrees to its students. Theoretical and technical courses, and a paid industry internship are provided to students admitted to a program under the institute. Turfgrass Management is an interdisciplinary program providing courses in business and sciences particularly on turfgrass management. Undergraduates can earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Turf Management and a Certificate of Competency in Turfgrass Equipment Manager.

Florida Gateway College (Lake City, FL) is a public college and considered as a “state college” allowing programs that will lead to bachelor’s degrees. FGC extends its academic offerings across Baker, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist and Union counties. The college offers a Turf Equipment Management program that leads to an Associate in Science degree. Students also have the option to earn an applied technology diploma in Turf Equipment Technology within a year.
