Beebe Medical Center is on a charitable mission to promote healthy living, cure illness as well as restore optimum health for people residing in the community. Their vision of Sussex County is to become one of the healthiest in the nation as well as the world.
Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Medical Center is located in Lewes, Delaware and offers a renowned nursing program. Established in 1921, this school has already formed a firm tradition in terms of academic excellence while providing the best of clinical experience and nursing education.
Currently there are around 50 students are enrolled in the nursing program at the H. Rollins School of Nursing, and the entire student population is comprised of undergraduate students. This is a private-not-for-profit institution and based upon the student body, it's a small sized one. In order for them to meet the increased numbers of Registered Nurses, the School of Nursing underwent an entire renovation project in 2012, enabling it to double in size and provide the latest technological methods in an academic environment.
F1 students and students that are on Visas aren't accepted because the school is yet to become a member of the Immigration & Naturalization Service Schools.
For admission, a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 is necessary or the equivalent GDE. Also they put emphasis on the SAT/ACT test scores before making a final decision.
The H. Rollins School of Nursing is a promoter and the epitome of a healthy lifestyle. Students have access to a physician in case they encounter any health problems. Also dental exams and immunization records are required before admission.
There's a fixed tuition fee for the first year of the nursing program set at $5,410. The second year it increases to $5,810.
